Meaghan Fricke Pinned as New Brookline Fire Department Chief
On April 5, 2025, history was made at the Brookline, New Hampshire Fire Department as Meaghan Fricke was officially pinned as the department’s new Fire Chief. In a touching ceremony held at the fire station, Chief Fricke’s sons had the special honor of pinning her Chief badge onto her uniform, marking a memorable moment for both her family and the entire Brookline community.
Chief Fricke was warmly welcomed into her new role by fellow officers Barry Doyle, Dave Joki, and Richard Gribble, each extending their congratulations and support as she embarks on this important leadership journey. During the ceremony, she took a moment to sincerely thank everyone in attendance, expressing her deep appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices made not only by the department's volunteer firefighters but also by their families who stand behind them.
Acknowledging the hard work, courage, and commitment it takes to serve as a firefighter, Chief Fricke emphasized the vital role each member plays in keeping the Brookline community safe. She spoke passionately about her vision for the department’s future, sharing her excitement to lead, grow, and continue building a strong, resilient team dedicated to excellence.
